Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at  if you cannot find an answer to your question.

EcoWell products have stronger signal strength, longer battery life-time, wider working temperature range, easier to install as well as have unique local indicator function, Modbus communication function and enabled accurate position function.

EcoWell wireless products eliminate the cable so there is no cable failure and associated maintenance and labor cost, saving operation expenses and minimizing the production loss. The overall benefits return within 2 years in general.

Ecowell primary power source adopts slow charge process, i,e., 0.1C. This allows rechargeable battery charging capability still valid down to -40 °F .

1. Channel Overcrowding

A prevalent cause of wireless interference is the overlap of wireless networks from nearby devices, including those from neighboring infrastructure. When various networks or devices operate on similar channels, it can lead to congestion and reduced speeds, a phenomenon known as channel overcrowding.

To mitigate channel overcrowding, it is advisable to utilize multiple access points distributed across different channels. This approach ensures that the network load is shared among various channels.

EcoWell wireless load cell is equipped with a default of 126 wireless communication channels to minimize signal congestion and interference, ensuring that signals remain distinct and unaffected in clustered well installation scenarios.

 2. Physical Obstructions

Physical barriers, such as concrete and metal, can considerably diminish the range of wireless signals. To address this issue, it is essential to strategically position transmitter and receiver antennas in locations that offer optimal coverage. Antennas should be placed away from physical obstructions like concrete and metal, favoring open areas that allow for a clear line of sight.
